Directed by hit maker Thampi Kannanthanam, it's all about an underground don turning out to be the saviour of a street.. however a matter of wonder the saviour comes up from a good family back up and circumstances remains the cause. Introducing Pranav Mohanlal with a stunning performance , it's a more or less Praja at a replay with the hero (Mohanlal), echoing patriotic feelings with a tricolour back up at the end ..Mohanlal as unbeatable hero right from Devasuram up to Onnaman, but one wonders when will he stop typecasting. Remya krishnan the heroine gets only a pat from the hero and it's a new way of romance....songs are cool ..Mohanlal backed by Jagathy, Jagadish, Biju Menon, Lalu Alex..etc offers a good masala mix through this movie. The villain not so powerful for the hero, gives a Rajanikanth type image pumbing up for Lal..
Still box office 's in Kerala are full for after all it's lal...On the whole, a masala for Mohanlal fans.
