Although 'Khiladi' is blessed with factors that will entertain all types of audiences however the film still fails to evoke interest overall. The second half is biggest drawback of this film, as it easily allows the audience to judge what is about to unfold.

The story revolves Karthik, a young business graduate who lives life by the philosophy of picking the best from options available with him. Be it shopping or going on a vacation, he always chooses from several options than settling for what is in his possession. He follows the same sutra to pick his life partner and ends up wooing and impressing not one but three ladies. Interestingly, all the three lose their hearts to Karthik. However, while selecting one among them, Karthik gets fixed following certain incidents and what happened later and what kind of twist in the story have to be seen on the screen.

We have seen many films with similar plots in the past and therefore the film lacks novelty big time. Director Thiru didn't take any chance whatsoever, he kept everything simple and chose a plot that managed to deliver maximum entertainment. However, at some point the film becomes loud and annoying.

Vishal, who has done this film for an image make-over, has almost succeeded in his attempt. He suited the character perfectly. However, the humor dialogues penned for his character, did not suit him at times and he needs to work on expressions when he delivers them.

Sarah Jane Dias was a treat to the eyes. Her pleasant looks will win the hearts of audiences. Neetu Chandra tried her best to expose her glamour to the maximum possible extent, while Tanusree Datta is apt for the character. Unfortunately, none of the actresses had any scope of acting; they were more required to shed clothes than show any signs of acting. Others have done justice to their characters.

Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Cinematography by Aravind Krishna was mediocre and nothing extraordinary. Music especially failed to make an impact while editing by TS Suresh was unsatisfying.
