Lovely Telugu Movie
With weak aspiration and no purpose in its making, Aadi's 'Lovely' qualifies as a film that will neither entice nor disappoint; it is bound to fall under average. The film's some part comes straight out of 'Mujhse Frrandship Karoge' however from then on it's pure creativity in the making of 'Lovely'.
Disappointingly what we get out of 'Lovely' is yet another love story that is hardly different from other films revolving around love. You have a boy in love with a girl; a highly responsive father of the girl who wouldn't wave the green flag until and unless he's convinced that his daughter is in safe hands and thus masquerades as a servant and enters the hero's house. What follows next forms the crux of the story.
The film has its share of moments that will duly entertain one and all but on the whole encompasses the father sentiment quite strongly. The lack of appealing narration and complicated execution are two reasons why the film falls short of satisfaction.
Direction fails to unleash what the film initially promised to deliver, logic and novelty. On the flipside, the film succeeds in delivering entertaining moments through its comical scenes. Thanks to the director for at least attempting to entertain the audience through comedy.
Aadi is a confident performer and energetic dancer. There is hardly anything to complain about his performance however his lady love played by Shanvi, although has the looks fails to bring the acting queen out of her. Rajendra Prasad outplays his character with experience and adds value to the film. Vennela Kishore and Chinmayi aptly live in their roles.
The technical department, barring music and dialogues, appears to have under delivered and is the film's biggest concern. There seems to be certain communication gap between the departments and therefore the hotchpotch on screen.
In one line; 'Lovely' has narcissism written all over it.
