Cinema should explore the unexplored: Naveen Kalyan

Chennai, Dec 18 (IANS)Director Naveen Kalyan feels that cinema should be used as a medium to explore the unknown.

"Cinema is one of the best mediums to explore the unexplored territory. We should not restrict ourselves with similar content films and try to go beyond to deliver something extra," Naveen told IANS.

"In the process of exploring new themes and subjects, one should not worry about stirring up controversy," he added.

Naveen's new Telugu political-thriller "Terra Nijam" will go on floors Dec 21.

"The film is based on several months of interesting research. It would bring to light some hidden truths that have been concealed for many years in our country," he said.

The cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalized.
