2.0 release postponed to April

The release date of Rajinikanth starrer Shankar directorial 2.0 was initially said to be in January 2018, although there were widespread talks that the film is likely to get postponed to April.

Now, production house Lyca has announced through an official press note that the film will hit the screens in April 2018. The note reads, “Lyca Productions – Superstar Rajinikanth – Akshay Kumar – Shankar magnum opus Sci-Fi action thriller 2.0 to be screened worldwide in April 2018. Nation’s costliest 3D film starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, directed by Shankar, music by AR Rahman. The high-tech post-production works are fully geared and the team is all set for the release schedule”.

Looks like this new release date will result in shuffling of many other films which had planned their releases in April and also would give a breather for those who had planned a January 2018 release. Click the Movie button below for more info:
