5 filmmakers shoot climax for Chennai 600028 II

Venkat Prabhu is presently busy with the sequel of his cult classic Chennai – 28. He recently shot the climax of the film and what was interesting was he shot it with five filmmakers and interestingly four of them all his former associates.

This league of filmmakers include four of Venkat Prabhu’s assistant directors – Venkatesh Ramakrishnan (Nalanum Nandhiniyum), Saravana Rajan (Vadacurry), Sripathy (Kanimozhi), Chandru (Naveena Saraswathy Sabatham) and finally, filmmaker Nagenthiran of Kaaval fame who happens to be his closest pal.

With the season’s most celebrated sequel already having its magical moments spread out, such a great combination of filmmakers coming together embosses the value of friendship. The film features the same star-cast from 2007 hit prequel ‘Chennai 600028’ and with Yuvan Shankar Raja’s signature theme occurring in Motion Poster, it’s like journeying memory down the lane for us.
