62nd National Film awards announced

The prestigious 62nd National Film awards have been announced and Tamil cinema has bagged quite a few in this. The film Jigarthanda directed by Karthik Subbaraj gets two awards, one for Bobby Simhaa for Best Supporting Award and Vivek Harshan for Best Editing.

Saivam directed by A L Vijay gets two awards, one for Uthara Unnikrishnan for Best Female Singer for the song Azhagae Azhagu and Best Lyricist award for Na. Muthukumar.

In addition, Tamil cinema also can be proud of Kutram Kadithal which has been chosen as the Best Regional Film in Tamil. Producer Dhananjayan gets the award for best work in cinema writing for his book Pride of Tamil cinema. Congrats winners! You have made Tamil cinema very proud!
