A film about Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose

Uyil Ondru is an upcoming film which will talk about the mysterious death of freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose who had an aggressive approach in seeking freedom. Directed by Dheeban, the film is touted to be a historical sci-fi film, with debutant Vaidhesh Hariharan in the lead.

The producer of the film Amstrong Praveen explains how they have made the portions that have Netaji in it. “The film follows the aftermath of Netaji’s death. So, the parts where he comes in the film has been made with the real footage of him which is already available. We have combined it with CG effects and used it for the film.”

On the lead Vaidesh, the producer says, “Vaidhesh was part of a Bengaluru-based theatre company, and for a film like this which is shot extensively with green mat, actors have to perform with a lot of imaginations. And Vaidhesh has done it perfectly”.

The team has also done much extensive work for the first look poster. The poster carries some details about the leader minutely and it was released by Seeman recently.
