A hat trick for Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie

Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie are inching towards a hat trick. The duo who first acted in the film, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, later teamed for the film Rummy. Though the film is yet to be released, it is known that they have signed their third film, Mellisai. Mellisai will be directed by debutant Ranjith and the pre-production work is on. Vijay Sehtupathi has confirmed that Gayathrie will be working with for the film. However, the team is looking for one more actress to share the screen-space.

Rummy starring Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie and Inigo Prabhakaran was looking for a release in December. However, due to lack of enough theatres, it is said that the film will release in 2014.
