A R Rahman's son to sing for Mani Ratnam?

Oscar winner A R Rahman is unarguably one of the talented music composers of our times. His recent scores in Shankar’s I and Vasantha Balan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan are ruling the music charts.

Recently the Mozart of Madras, as he is fondly called, addressed a pres meet to promote his music concert in Chennai scheduled to be held on the 2nd of October where Rahman and team comprising of Karthik, Blaaze and Neeti will be singing fifty of Rahman’s famous numbers.

While talking about the show, Rahman also indicated that his son Ameen may sing for the upcoming Mani Ratnam film. He said, “Offers are coming for Ameen, but I want him to focus on his studies right now. But he may sing in my composition for the next Mani Ratnam’s film.” Ameen had earlier rendered his voice for Couple’s Retreat.
