
'Aami' by Kamal to start rolling next month
Nov 19, 2016 SJ‘Aami’ is the movie which portraits the life story of famous Indian English poet, littérateur and Malayalam author Madhavikutty. The film directed by Kamal will start rolling from the 18th of next month.
Vidya Balan and Prithviraj play the main roles. Aami is the pet name of Madhavikutty (Kamala Surayya). The Bengali word Aami means ‘I’.
Vidya Balan plays Madhavikutty. The music recording of the film is progressing in Mumbai. There are four songs, two of which are in Hindi. The lyrics by Gulsar are composed by Thoufeeq Quereshi.
The movie is based on Madhavikutty’s autobiography ‘Ente Katha’. Mumbai, Kolkata, and Kerala are the locations. Murali Gopi and Anoop Menon play major roles.
