Aamir, Kareena to team up in ‘Forrest Gump' remake

Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan are collaborating again after belting out hits like ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Talaash’. The pair will be seen together in the upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which will be the Hindi remake of Tom Hanks 1994 film ‘Forrest Gump’.

Aamir revealed that he has been trying to acquire the rights of ‘Forrest Gump’ adaptation for the last eight years. The film is scheduled to go on floors in October.

Directed by Advait Chandan of ‘Secret Superstar’ fame, the film’s script is penned by Atul Kulkarni. It’s produced by Viacom 18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions. The flick is slated for release on Christmas 2020.
