Actor Anoop Chandran rescues stray dog

Actor Anoop Chandran swung into action to save an injured stray dog near Shoranur. The dog was unable to move as an iron rod pierced through its body causing a severe injury.

Anoop, who was at Varikkasseri Mana at Manissery in Palakkad for the shooting for the film “Premanjali,” saw the dog on the roadside twirling with pain. He gave food and water to the dog and informed dog catchers, who took the dog to a Veterinary hospital at Ottappalam.

Later, a surgery was conducted on the dog and the iron rod was removed from its body.
