Actor Jayaram's mother passes away

Actor Jayaram’s mother Thangam Subramaniam passed away in Chennai yesterday. She was 74 and was unwell due to old age. She hailed from Thanjavur and after her marriage with Subramaniam, she settled in Perumbavur in Kerala.

She had been in the forefront to bring out Jayaram’s artistic talents and had played a major role in shaping up the artist in him. She was staying with Jayaram in Chennai.

Actresses Radha, Ambika and Urvashi were among others who visited Jayaram’s house and paid their condolences.
