Actor Siddique's son to make his film debut

Versatile actor Siddique’s son, Shaheen Siddique, is making his debut in the industry. In his first movie, he will play the role of the son of the character played by Mammootty.

Salim Ahmed’s ‘Pathemaari’ is the debut movie of Shaheen Siddique. The movie narrates the story of an emigrant malayali. Sreenivasan is also seen in a prominent role along with Mammootty in ‘Pathemaari’. New face Jewel Mary is the heroine.

The story, script, and dialogues of ‘Pathemaari’ are written by the director himself. This is Mammootty’s second movie with Salim Ahmed. They have earlier worked together in ‘Kunjananthante Kada’.

As in ‘Kunjananthante Kada’, ‘Pathemaari’ too deals with a socially relevant theme. Siddique, Salim Kumar, Yavanika Gopalakrishnan, and Joy Mathew are the other main actors in 'Pathemaari'.
