Actress Gauthami Nair turns director

Actress Gauthami Nair, who hogged the limelight with her performances in films like ‘Diamond Necklace’ and ‘Second Show’, is set to wield the megaphone for the first time. Gauthami will be making her debut as a director with the film ‘Vritham’, starring Sunny Wayne and Durga Krishna in the lead.

Anoop Menon and Saiju Kurup will essay key roles in the flick. The first look poster of the film was unveiled on Friday. The movie is scripted by KS Aravind and Daniell Sayooj Nair.

The movie is produced by Olivia Saira Raju, and it will go on floors in Thiruvananthapuram from January 2.
