Actress Kanaka meets media

The media was abuzz with rumours about actress Kanaka’s health and even her death. Putting an end to the rumours, actress Kanaka met the media persons in her Chennai residence and said that she is hale and healthy. Rubbishing rumours that she has been undergoing cancer treatment in a private hospital in Alappuzha, she said that she is upset with media for not verifying with her before writing on all these issues.

Kanaka who debuted with Karakattakaran opposite Ramarajan has acted with most of the leading heroes like Rajinikanth, Prabhu and Karthik and was active in southern films for about two decades.
