Aishwarya and Soundarya deny that they are in PETA

Entire Tamil Nadu and also many other parts of the world are protesting against the ban on jallikattu and many of them want the association PETA to be banned. There were many celebrities who used to be a part of PETA which stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. But now, one by one they are coming out in the open to denounce their membership in the organization.

First it was Trisha, who after a serious backlash against her in the social media, deactivated her account with a note saying that she is not associated with PETA. Now, daughters of Superstar Rajinikanth have also come out and proclaimed that they are not members of PETA.

Soundarya tweeted, “Clarifying to those who think I'm a member of PETA, it is false. I am not a member of PETA and I support #Jallikattu entirely”. Elder daughter Aishwarya Dhanush also tweeted, “None of us are members of PETA n we as a family are proud of every tamilian involved in this massive movement n stand by in full support”
