Aishwarya Rai to do her next film with Mani Ratnam?

Mani Ratnam has just now finished OK Kanmani that has been liked by all. There are talks that his next project would be a bilingual with Aishwarya Rai as the lead. Aishwarya, who had taken a sabbatical of sorts after her motherhood, would be making a re-entry through Jasba.

In the recently held Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai had mentioned that she was to have done a film with Mani Ratnam last year but the film had not taken off due to technical reasons.

But sources mention that the ace director recently met her and there are possibilities that the duo would once again team up for an interesting project. It has to be recalled that Aishwarya made her Tamil entry through Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar. There are also talks that Mani could bring alive his project that was said to have Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna and Shruti Haasan. But nothing is confirmed as of now.
