Ajith and Shalini pay respects to Jayalalithaa and Cho Ramaswamy

Ajith who is shooting in Bulgaria for Siva’s Thala 57 flew down to Chennai last night just to pay his respects to the departed former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa. He went from the airport directly to Marina where the former CM was buried with all the state honors yesterday.

Ajith was joined by his wife Shalini on the way and the duo paid their respects to Jayalalithaa. It is said that he wanted to be there for the funeral but was not aware of the schedule of the funeral. By the time, he came to Chennai, the funeral had gotten over.

Later, when he heard about Cho Ramaswamy’s death, he went to Apollo Hospitals to pay his respects to the departed actor/journalist. Sources say that the Veeram actor flew in to Chennai just to pay his final homage to Jayalalithaa and he would soon leave for Bulgaria to resume shooting for Thala 57.
