Ajith as 'Bhaskar the Rascal' in Tamil

Siddique’s Mammootty-starrer ‘Bhaskar the Rascal’ is planned to be remade in Tamil. There were reports that Rajnikanth will play the lead role. But the title role played by Mammootty will be done by Ajith in the Tamil version.

Nayantara who was the heroine of Mammootty in ‘Bhaskar the Rascal’ will be Ajith’s heroine in the Tamil film. The movie will be directed by Siddique himself.

Nayantara was the heroine of Ajith in the Tamil film ‘Arrambam’. Siddique has earlier directed Tamil films like ‘Friends’ and ‘Kaavalan’, which were the Tamil versions of ‘Friends’ and ‘Bodyguard’.
