Ajith's Vivegam to release on the 24th August

Ajith starrer Vivegam is the most anticipated film of the year, directed by Siva who had earlier worked with the actor in Veeram and Vedalam. The film went for censor certification yesterday and was given a U/A because of its action sequences.

Since censor certification is the last step before the release of the film, all eyes and ears were on the release date. Finally, the date was announced by director Siva through his official Twitter handle. The film will release on the 24th August. Siva’s tweet reads, “, “Sai sai #vivegam from 24th august super happy god bless us all”.

Earlier, the film was slated for an August 10th release and therefore the fans were little disappointed about a little postponement. All the same, they are all excited about the confirmation of the release date. Vivegam features Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan as the female leads and has Vivek Oberoi as the antagonist with Karunakaran and others in the supporting cast.
