Akansha Puri to enter Malayalam films

Mumbai model Akanksha Puri, who has done modelling for several products in the south is geared up to make her Malayalam debut. She will be seen alongside Mammootty , Reenu Mathews and Ahmed Sidhique in the film Praise the Lord, which will be directed by Shibu Gangadharan. Akanksha will be paired with Ahmed of Salt N' Pepper fame, who is doing an important role.

Akansha will essay the role of Annie, a Malayali girl brought up in Delhi. She will also be dubbing for her role in the film.

Akansha has earlier done Karthi’s Alex Pandian in Tamil.
