Akshay Kumar launches 'The Shaukeens' official trailer

Actor-producer Akshay Kumar on Saturday unveiled the trailer of "The Shaukeens" in the presence of the film's entire starcast.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma and written by Tigmanshu Dhulia, "The Shaukeens" is a remake of the cult classic film "Shaukeen" and features Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Anupam Kher and Lisa Haydon.

Akshay Kumar appears in a cameo role in the comedy, playing himself.

"I am playing myself in the film and the only thing that was added in my character was that I was shown as an alcoholic in the movie which is different from my real life character. I had a great time shooting for this film", Akshay told reporters at the event.

The movie promises great entertainment value, with over 60 percent shot in Mauritius.
