AL Vijay turns producer!

It seems the present trend in the industry is that directors turn into producers! The latest to join the bandwagon is director Vijay. After the failure of his last two big budget films – Vijay’s Thalaiva and Vikram’s Thandavam, he has now decided to look at other aspects of filmmaking and has decided to produce films!

Vijay has embarked on an ambitious venture and has floated his own production company - Think Big Studios (TBS). His maiden film as a producer would be Saivam, which does not have any big names.

In a statement it was announced that the title Saivam sums up the creative background, amalgamated by the best of today's technicians. The film has G V Prakash Kumar as music director and Nirav Shah as the cameraman. It is speculated that Baby Sara will play the lead in this film which is about a child's love for a rooster. It is learnt that the shoot has started in Karaikudi.
