All decks cleared for Mersal finally

Mersal, the Vijay starrer and Atlee directorial finally gets ready to release tomorrow for Diwali on the 18th of October. The film that got into an issue for not obtaining NOC from Animal Welfare Board, had finally managed to get the same and clear the Censor certification too. The film will hit the screens tomorrow to movie buff’s satisfaction.

Vijay had also met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy to thank for the uniform theatre pricing all through the state of Tamil Nadu.

The bookings have begun and as expected, within a few minutes of the commencement of online booking, the theatres are running full for this Vijay starrer. Mersal produced by Thenandal Film Studios is their 100th production venture and they are tuning no stone unturned to make this film a grand success. Vijay is said to be doing three different roles, one of a magician, one of a village chief and the other of a doctor. AR Rahman has composed music for the film.
