‘Ambili' gets ‘U' certificate, release confirmed

Actor Soubin Shahir’s upcoming film ‘Ambili’ has been certified with a ‘U’ certificate by the Censor Board. Written and directed by Johnpaul George of ‘Guppy’ fame, the film also features actress Nazriya Nazim ’s brother Naveen Nasim.

The film is set to hit the screens on August 9. Female lead Thanvi Ram also makes his debut with this movie. Vettukili Prakash and Jaffer Idukki will be seen playing other important characters.

Mukesh. R. Mehtha, AV Anoop and C.V. Sarathi bankroll the film under the banners of E4 Entertainments and AVA Productions. Vishnu Vijay is the music composer while Vinayak Sasikumar writes lyrics. Sharan Velayudhan cranks the camera.
