'Amen' in Canada

Lijo Jose Pellisserry’s ‘Amen’ has won an award in the Canada International Film Festival. The movie got the Royal Reel Award in the feature competition section of the festival.

The award was handed over to Saleel, the executive producer of ‘Amen‘, in a function held at Canada. The film was showcased in the festival. The film got positive responses from the viewers for its presentation style and picturization.

‘Amen’ casts Fahad Fazil, Indrajith, and Swati Reddy in the lead roles. ‘The movie narrates the story of the village of Kumarankary and the mysterious incidents that happen in the parish of the village.

‘Amen’ has been widely acclaimed for its narrative and successfully experimenting with 'Magical Realism' in storytelling. P S Rafeeq is the scenarist of ‘Amen’. ‘Amen’ is produced by Fareed Khan.
