Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan to be reunited on screen again

Together, they were a sensation onscreen way back in the ‘70s, however, Bollywood’s golden couple – Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, barring their small cameos in ‘Ki & Ka’ and Bhojpuri film ‘Ganga Devi’, has not graced the screen together since Karan Johar’s hit film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.’

But soon that’s going to change as Mr and Mrs Bachchan are all set to reunite in Shoojit Sircar’s film on an autumnal couple. Shoojit, who had earlier directed Big B in the heart-warming film ‘Piku’ is now reportedly gearing up to bring this iconic jodi of silver screen together again.

A source close to the development of the project was quoted by a web portal, “It’s the story of a couple married for 40 years and now sharing old age together. Both of them are approaching their end. Their fear is not death. Their fear is, what happens if either goes before the other?”

Well, we can’t wait to see this duo onscreen again.
