Amitabh Bachchan to participate in Ilayaraja's function

Director Balki is organizing a function to felicitate music maestro Ilayaraja in Mumbai on the 20th of January. This function will witness the participation of the legends Amitabh Bachchan, singers Lata Mangeshkar, S Janaki, P Suseela and many film celebrities.

Talking about this Balki informs, “Ilayaraja has composed for my film Shamitabh and this is the third time that we are working together. The audio release of Shamitabh is happening on the 20th and I want to combine this event with a felicitation function for the maestro as he has worked in more than 1000 films”.

He further adds, “We have also made a film in which Amitabh has sung for Raja sir’s music and P C Sreeram has cinematographed this. This song will be released on the 26th of January. Amitabh and Ilayaraja are two Kings (Rajas) and this function is meant to honor them.”
