Amy Jackson gets replaced by Elli AvrRam and Shibani Dandekar in Queen remake

The Hindi film Queen starring Kangana Ranaut is getting remade in the four south Indian languages. The Tamil remake of the film is titled ‘Paris Paris’ and stars, Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. While the Malayalam one has Manjima Mohan, the Telugu one has Tamannaah and the Kannada has Parul Yadav as the lead.

Amy Jackson was earlier signed to be playing Lisa Haydon's part in the Telugu and Tamil remake but she had opted out of the film stating date issues and creative differences.

Now she is replaced by Elli AvrRam and Shibani Dandekar. Elli will be seen in the Tamil and Kannada remake while Shibani in the Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film. Producer Manu Kumaran said in a statement: “We have made several changes to the script and the films are going to be different in each language. We had planned on Amy Jackson initially, but it became clear that the character demanded a specific look and feel. Elli AvrRam and Shibani Dandekar will bring the much-required freshness to the movies”.
