Amy Jackson in Queen remake

Queen, the Hindi hit film that featured Kangana Ranaut and fetched her National Award for Best Actress will be remade in all the south Indian languages.

In Tamil, the film will be directed by Revathy and dialogues written by Suhasini Mani Ratnam. Tamannaah will be the heroine while Amy Jackson is said to reprise Lisa Haydon’s role in all the four south Indian languages.

The Malayalam version will be directed by Revathy again with Amala Paul as the lead, Rakul Preeth Singh in Telugu and Parul Yadav in Kannada version. Prakash Raj will be directing the Kannada film. The remake rights of this film in the south Indian languages are with actor/director/producer Thiagarajan. The film is soon to begin its shoot. It is heartwarming to see a good film being remade in the regional language.
