Queen, the Hindi hit film featuring Kangana Ranaut was to be made in all four South Indian languages and Amy Jackson was signed on to reprise Lisa Hayden’s role in all the four languages.

However, the Madharasapattinam girl has opted out of the film due to date issues and explains, “I really wanted to be a part of the project. It’s a fun, fierce role. I loved Lisa’s role in the Hindi version and thought I could do justice to it for the remake. But due to date clash with my TV series Supergirl, I am not able to this film”.

While the Tamil version is titled Paris Paris and stars Kajal Aggarwal in the titular role, Manjima Mohan and Parul Yadav star as the lead in Malayalam and Kannada versions respectively. Actor-filmmaker Ramesh Arvind is helming the Kannada and Tamil versions of the remake. National award-winning director Neelakanta is directing the Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film.
