‘Angrezi Medium': Dad's pain, daughter's dreams

The official trailer of Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Angrezi Medium’ was released on Thursday. The trailer shows Irrfan playing the father of a teenage girl, who aspires to study in the UK.

Meanwhile, the father, who is struggling with his English-speaking ability, faces various challenges in fulfilling his daughter’s dreams. He ultimately becomes sad and depressed. Radhika Madan plays Irrfan’s daughter in the flick.

Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Tripathi, Deepak Dobriyal, Ranvir Shorey and Kiku Sharda also appear in the trailer, which has fun and emotion in equal proportion.

The film is a sequel to Irrfan’s 2017 movie ‘Hindi Medium’. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Homi Adajania. Anil Mehta cranks the camera.

The film is slated to hit the screens on March 20.
