Anil Kapoor to file a case against Suriya's film?

Suriya has completed Venkat Prabhu’s Masss and has moved on to his next film to be directed by Vikram Kumar of 13 B and Manam fame. This film is titled 24 and is to be produced by Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment. The film is to begin today, the 9th April.

Now reports have come that Bollywood hero Anil Kapoor has plans to file a case against the film as the movie’s logo and title design are very similar to a popular American series titled 24, for which, he holds the rights in India.

Anil Kapoor states, “As we are from the same fraternity, I spoke to Suriya, before I resorted to legal action. Suriya said he would speak to his team and get back to me. The title of his film '24' and the logo looked very similar to our TV series, which has done one very successful season on Colors. It is something I thought I should protect as much as I can''.
