Anirudh replaces Harris in Selvaraghavan's next!

The latest buzz in the Kollywood is that Anirudh has replaced Harris Jayaraj to score the background for Selvaragahavan’s film Irandam Ulagam.

As known, Irandam Ulagam has Harris Jayaraj composing the music for it, but now Anirudh, of Kolavari Di fame is doing the background score. Industry sources hint at a misunderstanding between Selvaraghavan and Harris. But the makers have said that the replacing took place because Harris has prior commitments and he was not able to give the time required for the movie’s background score and hence they replaced him with the young musician. They wanted to release the movie for Diwali.

Irandam Ulagam is a bilingual being made in Tamil and Telugu and is produced by PVP Cinemas. It has Anushka and Arya in the lead and is said to be a romantic fantasy film with lots of adventure and thrills too. This film is supposed to be the most expensive film in Selvaraghavan’s career till date.

The songs of Irandam Ulagam have been released and have been received well. The film will be releasing on Diwali across the world, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Georgian, Russian, Uzbek and Turkish languages.

Meantime Anirudh’s another film ‘Vanakkam Chennai’ with Priya Anand and Mirchi Shiva produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin will be releasing on October 11.
