Anjali sings for the first time

This appears to be the season of actors lending their voices to songs and Anjali is the latest one to join this bandwagon.

She has crooned a peppy number in Telugu and Tamil for a film titled as Chitrangada. The film is said to be a psychological thriller directed by G Ashok.

About making Anjali sing, Ashok says, “When we were shooting for the film in US, I heard her hum very often and she was pretty melodious too. I asked her what she thought about singing in the film but she didn't seem very convinced of the idea”. Later Ashok along with music director Selvaganesh and his son Swaminathan convinced her to sing. Ashok adds, “We called her to the recording studio and she had no clue why. He asked her to give it a try and she hesitatingly agreed. After she did, we felt she had done a great job,”. Click the Movie button below for more info:
