Anoop Sathyan's debut film titled ‘Varane Avashyamundu'

The debut directorial of Anoop Sathyan, son of filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad, has been titled ‘Varane Avashyamundu’. The film’s producer actor Dulquer Salmaan announced the title on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

“Kicking off this decade with a truly special poster of a truly special film. The movie Varane Avashyamundu is a Wayfarer Films and M star production directed by Anoop Sathyan, starring Suresh Gopi sir, Shobhana ma’am, Kalyani Priyadarshan and of course yours truly. It is the coming together of two generations of Malayalam cinema- one that has been heavily influenced by the other. Looking forward to this movie and a rocking year ahead,” he posted.

The film stars Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salmaan, Shobhana and Kalyani Priyadarsan, daughter of filmmaker Priyadarsan, in key roles. Though a busy star in Telugu and Tamil, Kalyani is making her debut in Malayalam through this film.

Dulquer is bankrolling the movie under his home banner Wayfarer Films and M Star Entertainments. The film has cinematography by Mukesh Muraleedharan and music by Alphons Joseph.
