Anumol to Tamil

Anumol, who is familiar to Malayalees through ‘Chayilyam’ will play the female lead in the Tamil movie ‘Thilagar’. She is known for her stellar performances in ‘Vedivazhipadu’ and ‘Chayilyam’.

‘Thilagar’ is a woman-oriented movie which thematizes the crimes done by children. Anumol plays a widow who brings up her son with the intention to take revenge on the murderer of his father. Thirunelveli is the main shooting location.

Anumol has also acted in the Malayalam films ‘Ivan Megharoopan’, ‘David and Goliath’, ‘Akam’, ‘God for Sale’, ‘Vedivazhipadu’. She is now working on ‘Maram Peyyumbol’ based on Aruna Shanbaug incident. Her another upcoming project is Ranjith’s ‘Njan’ opposite Dulquer Salman.
