Anushka meets Ilayaraja

Anushka stars in the Gunashekar directorial Rudramadevi, a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu about the Kakatiya princess and her dynasty. The film’s trailer that was out recently was much appreciated by everyone. Rudramadevi is scored by Ilayaraja and the tracks have won the appreciation of music buffs.

Recently heroine Anushka who is a great fan of Ilayaraja met him at the Prasad Studios, Chennai and greeted the legend with a bouquet of flowers and a lot of laughter.

Anushka also talked to the music director and expressed her admiration towards the veteran’s music and he also played two tracks from the film for the Arundhati actress. Ilayaraja was leaving for London later in the evening to complete re-recording of the film to work with some Hollywood technicians. Raja had also appreciated Anushka’s work.
