Anushka Sharma's 'Chakda Xpress' set for OTT release

Actress Anushka Sharma’s film 'Chakda Xpress', after a gap of three years, will have an OTT release. The film is based on the life of female Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. It will be streamed on Netflix.

The film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped Jhulan’s life and also women's cricket.

According to Anushka, Jhulan's life is a living testimony that passion and perseverance triumphs over any or all adversities and 'Chakda Xpress' is the most definitive look into the not so rosy world of women's cricket back then.

The actress was last seen in the film ‘Zero’ in 2018.
