AP International bags Mersal's overseas rights

Now that Vijay’s Mersal is just a week from its release (18th October), the business of this Atlee’s directorial is picking up pretty fast. The overseas rights of the film have been bagged by the reputed AP International.

This was informed by the production house Thenandal Film studios in their twitter page. The tweet read, “"We are pleased to announce that the overseas rights for #Mersal have been acquired by @APIfilms & @homescreenent!"

Although the strike by Producer Council protesting against the 10 % Entertainment tax is still on and no new films were released last week in Tamil Nadu, it is expected that the situation will come under control soon which will witness the release of Mersal for Diwali festival next week. The production team is much confident about meeting their date next week. Mersal has Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen giving company to the 3 Vijays in the film.
