AR Rahman completes nine songs for Rajiv Menon-GV Prakash film

Director Rajiv Menon is known for his beautiful films Minsara Kanavu and Kandu Kondein Kandu Kondein. He will soon be directing music composer turned actor GV Prakash in an untitled film. This film will have Prakash’s uncle Rahman composing tunes.

Apparently, the Oscar winner has completed nine songs for the film. Sources say that along with the nine songs, AR Rahman has also completed a few portions of the background music for the film. Since the film is music-based, the songs have been completed even before the shooting commenced, which will start by October-November.

GV Prakash, who plays a drummer in this yet-to-be-titled movie, has been learning the techniques of drumming. Actor Cheenu Mohan plays GV’s father in this film, which revolves around a musician trying to achieve his goal. It was also reported that Sai Pallavi has been approached to play the heroine. But, it is still unclear if she has been brought on board yet.
