Arshad Warsi as an accident-prone ex-navy man in 'Welcome To Karachi'

Mumbai: Ace comedian-actor Arshad Warsi, whose next film "Welcome To Karachi" will soon start its production work, says the movie looks at political facts in a real, but light-hearted manner.


"My character is that of an ex-navy man and he is accident prone. Somehow, he reaches Karachi without any documents or papers. So you can imagine what follows", the 46-year-old said here Friday at the 'mahurat' of the film. The movie also stars Irrfan Khan.


"It is a comedy with political facts, but they have been shown in a very light way. There is no finger-pointing. It is a very light and fun film, but the facts are real and not fabricated", Arshad added.


Besides Arshad and Irrfan Khan, the film also stars some Pakistani as well as American and Bangladeshi actors, and will be directed by Aashish R. Mohan.
