Arun Vaidyanathan to direct Arjun

Director Arun Vaidyanathan who gave Achchamundu Achchamundu is back with a cop film. The yet to be titled thriller will have Action King Arjun in the lead. The film is produced by I studios of Kappal fame.

Giving out details about the film Arun Vaidyanathan says, “I am very particular on the change of genres in every film of mine. Achchamundu Achchamundu was based on a theme of social reference. My next Peruchazhi with Mohanlal sir was based on political satirical comedy. I took enough time to draft my next script and I struck an idea of a stylish and innovative cop”.

“After developing the script I narrated it to I studios and they were thrilled too. Our choice of protagonist was Arjun sir. He is not the typical screen cop who goes over the top to prove in this film. He plays a perfect real time cop, cool and calculative. We are in the process of bringing the best of the technical team to support our dream of making a perfectly blended stylish thriller. The locations are being discussed right now”.
