Arvind Swami plays a cop in Vanangamudi

Arvind Swami who came after a long sabbatical to Kollywood in Mani Ratnam’s Kadal is on a signing spree these days and will be seen in different projects, one of which is Vanangamudi, a tentative title, to be directed by Selvah.

This film will witness Arvind Swami in a cop role and supported by Ritika Singh as his love interest, Chandini as a journalist and Nanditha Swetha as a cop and Thambi Ramaiah in a crucial role.

Producer Ganesh informs that Arvind Swami will be portraying a straight forward cop and has three different shades to his character. He is on a weight reduction regime for his role of Anbazhagan. Apparently, director Selvah and the producer decided that Arvind Swami would be the best to portray this role. The film went on floors recently and the title is also likely to change.
