Arya's new flick goes on floors

Actor Arya’s new film, directed by Muthaiya, went on floors on Sunday with a traditional pooja ceremony in Chennai.

The film, being produced by Zee Studios and Drumsticks Productions, is tentatively titled 'Arya 34'.

Apart from Arya, the film will feature actress Siddhi Idnani of 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' fame as the female lead.

Muthaiya is known for his family entertainers set against a rural backdrop, including the recent release 'Viruman.' G.V. Prakash Kumar will be scoring the music for this film, which has cinematography by Velraj and art direction by Veeramani.
