As Golmaal Again inches close to the 100 crore mark, Rohit Shetty promises Golmaal 5

Last week’s festive release ‘Golmaal Again’, the fourth instalment to the popular ‘Golmaal’ series, not only got a huge opening at the box office but also showed a steady growth throughout the weekend.

The film opened to Rs 30.14 crore on Friday, and collected another Rs 28.37 crore on Saturday, and according to early estimates collected Rs 26 crore (approximately) on Sunday, thus taking the total to Rs 84.51 crore (approx) in three days.

Looking at the acceptance the film has received not just in India but across the globe, director Rohit Shetty, who recently visited Mumbai’s popular single screen, G7 multiplex, also known as Gaiety-Galaxy, said, “Definitely we’ll make another one since ‘Golmaal Again’ has done so well but when and how is something I can’t say.”

Shreyas Talpade, who too was present there jokingly added, “Even we want work. So Rohit has to make Golmaal 5.”

Even Ajay Devgn, who was interacting with his fans on twitter recently, when was asked by a fan to come back with another film in the ‘Golmaal’ series said, “Jitni jaldi script mil jaaye... (As soon as we get a script)"

Well, we hope they find a good script soon, we can’t wait for another laugh riot.
