Asif Ali's 'IDI' to start rolling from September

The action comedy thriller ‘IDI – Inspector Dawood Ibrahim’ is expected to go on floors from September. Asif Ali does the title role of Inspector Dawood Ibrahim in the film.

"D 4 Dance" fame Ajaz portrays the childhood days of Dawood, the central character in this film. The rest of the cast and crew are not revealed.

'IDI' is written and directed by debutants Sajid Yahiya and Arouz Irfan. Abhinanthan Ramanajun is the cinematographer and Rahul Raj is the music director.

The film is produced by Asif Ali's production firm Adam's World of Imagination. Sajin Jaffer and Brijeesh Mohammed are the co-producers of Asif Ali.
