Asin ties the knot with Rahul Sharma

Asin, the south Indian actress who was seen in Tamil films like M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Ullam Ketkumae, Majaa, Sivakasi to name a few had shifted lock, stock and barrel to Mumbai for a career in Bollywood a few years back. But sadly, her career did not take off well in the Hindi film industry and her film offers were drying.

Luckily for Asin, she met Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma and fell in love with him. The couple got married yesterday, the 19th January first in a Christian ceremony followed by a Hindu traditional ceremony later in the evening. The marriage took place at a resort at the outskirts of Delhi.

The event was attended by just close friends and family members and there were also not many pictures that were released. Akshay Kumar who was the one who introduced the two to each other was one of the few who attended the marriage. Nowrunning wishes Asin and Rahul a long happy married life.
